He also briefly describes his time on the SS Maaskerk after Abbekerk was sunk.<br \/>\nBe aware this story was written in <strong>2000<\/strong> and is kept as original as he wrote is. So it may not be completely factual with information now available.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">More short stories can be found under &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.msabbekerk.nl\/?page_id=109&amp;lang=en\">Fragments<\/a>&#8220;, including that of the Third Mate (in Dutch only).
